Minister received the representatives of Nokia and Ucom companies

Minister of High-Tech Industry of the RA Mkhitar Hayrapetyan received the representatives of Nokia company, headed by Peter Wukowits, Vice President of Mobile Networks Europe.

Director General of “Ucom” Ralph Yirikian and Co-Founder and Co-Chairman of “Galaxy” Group Artyom Khachatryan were also present at the meeting.

The Minister welcomed the guests and highlighted the cooperation between “Nokia” and “Ucom” companies in terms of network modernization and service improvement, which will increase the availability of mobile communication and the speed of data transfer.

The representative of “Nokia” noted that he was happy to be in Armenia and start the implementation of the project, which will create new opportunities in terms of solving some problems and overcoming challenges in the competitive field.
Director General of “Ucom” Ralph Yirikian noted that this is a serious achievement for the company and the result of a year of consistent work.

It should be noted that a cooperation contract will be signed between “Nokia” and “Ucom” companies in the near future.

The Minister wished success to the companies in this partnership and emphasized that this cooperation will bring a positive change in the telecommunication sector of Armenia, contributing to the development of infrastructure.
