Issues related to YouTube monetization activation and Google Maps adjustment. Possibilities of developing cooperation with Google discussed

Minister of High-Tech Industry of the Republic of Armenia, Mkhitar Hayrapetyan, received the delegation of "Google" company, marking the company's first working visit to Armenia. The meeting aimed to foster mutual cooperation and explore opportunities for collaboration between the Ministry and Google.

The Minister, referring to the scope of the Ministry's activities, presented to the company the strategic priorities of the Government of the Republic of Armenia, the expected areas of cooperation, in particular in the field of artificial intelligence and cloud solutions, which will encourage the development of technologies in Armenia.

During the meeting, the possibilities of bringing cooperation with "Google" company to the most effective level were discussed, specifically, the issues related to activating the monetization of "YouTube" in Armenia, as well as the issues of adjusting Google Maps were addressed.

"Various Google services are available in our country, but we see greater potential in terms of developing bilateral relations: from cloud services to the use of artificial intelligence in various areas," the Minister emphasized.

The company's representatives, touching upon the prerequisites and opportunities for collaboration, presented their proposals ranging from cultural preservation to the technology sector, emphasizing the importance and role of human resources in Armenia.

At the end of the meeting, both parties expressed hope that the agreements reached would be implemented in the future, for the strengthening and development of bilateral cooperation.

"I sincerely hope that through open dialogue it is possible to achieve effective, targeted and purposeful cooperation," noted Minister Hayrapetyan.
