“EDEX 2023” international expo of defense and security technologies started in Cairo

The international exhibition of defense and security technologies “EDEX 2023” started in Cairo, the capital of the Arab Republic of Egypt, on December 4. The official opening of the expo was attended by the delegation of the Ministry of High-Tech Industry of the Republic of Armenia, headed by Minister Robert Khachatryan.

12 Armenian companies, with the support of the Ministry of High-Tech Industry, participate in “EDEX 2023” and demonstrate their solutions and products in the sphere of defense and security under the joint pavilion “Armenia”.

Minister Robert Khachatryan visited the Armenian pavilion, talked with companies, got acquainted with the presented products and solutions, as well as toured the thematic exhibition halls, got acquainted with the latest defense and security technological solutions, equipment and systems used on land, at sea and in the air.

Participating companies have the opportunity to witness the latest developments in advanced technologies and establish new business connections. “EDEX 2023” also creates important prerequisites for raising the recognition and reputation of Armenian high-tech potential, promoting the products of Armenian tech companies on the international stage.

The exhibition is held under the patronage of the president of the Arab Republic of Egypt and the Supreme Commander of the Egyptian armed forces Abdel Fattah El Sisi. Around 400 industry organizations and over 35000 international visitors are expected to participate in it. “EDEX” is the only defense and security event that covers Africa and the Middle East.
