Mkhitar Hayrapetyan received the Armenian telecom operators
On May 27, the RA Minister of High-Tech Industry Mkhitar Hayrapetyan received the representatives of the Armenian telecom operators for the purpose of evaluating and resolving telecommunication problems in the flood-affected settlements.
It was stated that the flood largely damaged infrastructures, so disaster relief operations were deployed for recovery purposes.
Short-term and long-term recovery solutions were discussed, including the demand for legislative changes to use innovative solutions for installing communication cables during the temporary roadway construction.
The Minister stated that the disaster relief teams include specialists from the Ministry of Transport and Communications. They are available 24 hours per day to support with any problem related to restoring communication breakdown.
