Gevorg Meliksetyan Welcomes Chairs of Television Companies to Discuss Sector Issues

Deputy Minister of High-Tech Industry of the Republic of Armenia, Gevorg Meliksetyan, met with leadership representatives from TV stations that provide capital, republican, and regional coverage, along with members of the Industrial Committee of Audiovisual Media.

Industry representatives voiced their concerns about various issues related to legislation, policy, security, the public multiplex, and other sector-related topics that, from their perspective, hinder the effective operation and competitiveness of their companies.

Discussions also addressed contract reviews, broadcast volume and quality, pricing, and technical challenges.

Deputy Minister Meliksetyan listened to the suggestions and concerns raised by the attendees, and opportunities for developing cooperation were explored. An agreement was reached to continue discussions, emphasizing a commitment to solving the problems presented.

The meeting was attended by the General Director of RARC CJSC, Narek Adamyan, Deputy Director Sahak Davtyan, CTR Chairman Tigran Hakobyan, and representatives from "Armenia TV", "Shant TV", "5th Channel TV", "Bun TV", "Fortuna TV", "Tsaig TV", "Media TV", and the Industrial Committee of Audiovisual Media.
