Armenia\'s Participation in the Annual Investment Forum (AIM) Discussed: Gevorg Mantashyan Meets Event’s General Director
The First Deputy Minister of High-Tech Industry of the Republic of Armenia, Gevorg Mantashyan, welcomed Walid Farghal, General Director of the Annual Investment Meeting (AIM), during his working visit to Armenia.
The Annual Investment Meeting (AIM) is an initiative of the AIM Foundation (AIM Congress), an independent international organization dedicated to strengthening the global economy by promoting strategies and creating opportunities for economic productivity growth.
During the meeting, they discussed Armenia’s potential participation in the Annual Investment Forum, set to take place in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates, from April 7-9, 2025, as well as other relevant matters.
Mantashyan highlighted the Ministry’s ongoing programs and the legislative reform package currently under parliamentary consideration, aimed at fostering industry growth. He also discussed Armenia's and the Ministry's participation in various renowned international events and expos, along with their outcomes and expectations.
Walid Farghal elaborated on the objectives of the AIM Congress in Abu Dhabi, providing the latest insights on investment attraction strategies, which could enhance opportunities for expanding economic relations between countries.
Farghal also discussed the investment themes to be featured at the conference, including foreign direct investment, global trade, global manufacturing, future cities, digital economy, future finance, startups, unicorns, and entrepreneurship.
Agreements were reached on the format of Armenia’s representation at the forum and on opportunities for advancing sectoral cooperation.
