Applications Are Open for the Neruzh 6.0 Diaspora Technology Startup Program

The Ministry of High-Tech Industry of the Republic of Armenia is implementing Neruzh 6.0, a national program for diaspora technology startups aimed at fostering Armenia’s economic progress, strengthening the startup ecosystem, encouraging professional repatriation, and leveraging the global Armenian potential for economic development.

As in previous years, around 40 teams from across the world will be invited to Armenia, in a six-day program, to explore the advantages of doing business in Armenia, and gain access to collaboration opportunities and individual mentoring.

The program is open to applicants with technological and innovative startup ideas who meet the following criteria:

· Diaspora Armenians who have lived outside Armenia for at least five years and hold citizenship or legal residency status in their country of residence.

· Teams in which at least half of the members are Diaspora Armenians who have lived abroad for at least five years and hold citizenship or legal residency status in their country of residence.

· Repatriates who have lived abroad for at least five years and have returned to Armenia within the last six months.

As part of Neruzh 6.0, an intensive acceleration program will be conducted in Armenia by a renowned international accelerator, alongside additional events designed to enhance entrepreneurial skills and provide the necessary tools for success.

The program includes seminars, pitching sessions, and networking opportunities to help participants develop their startups.

After the six-day program, the international accelerator will continue to support and collaborate with the winning startups for an additional month. During this period, the startups will receive tailored mentoring, strategic consulting, and access to a network of investors and industry experts.

Winners will receive grants in the following categories:

Idea Phase:

· 1st place: AMD 15 million

· 2nd place: AMD 10 million

· 3rd place: AMD 5 million

Growth Phase:

· 1st place: AMD 30 million

· 2nd place: AMD 20 million

· 3rd place: AMD 10 million
