Minister Mkhitar Hayrapetyan Highlighted the Representation of the American company AMD in the Armenian Tech Life

On June 10, the Minister of High-Tech Industry of the Republic of Armenia, Mkhitar Hayrapetyan, met with a delegation from the American tech company AMD, led by Corporate Vice President Dan Gibbons.

AMD is globally recognized for its innovation in the design and development of computer processors and graphics systems.

The meeting focused on the growth of Armenia’s technological ecosystem and the potential for expanding bilateral cooperation. Minister Hayrapetyan emphasized AMD’s growing role in Armenia’s tech landscape and presented a range of state support programs aimed at fostering technological advancement.

He also noted Armenia’s ambition to position itself as an international hub for research and development (R&D), underlining the country’s strategic investments in this direction.

Dan Gibbons expressed appreciation for the progress Armenia has made in the fields of technology and engineering education, recognizing the country’s growing potential in engineering education.
