Deputy Minister of High-Tech Industry Hosts Delegation from the Ministry of Defence of India
On November 6, Deputy Minister of High-Tech Industry of the Republic of Armenia Gevorg Mantashyan and Chairman of the Military Industry Committee Aram Jivanyan welcomed a delegation led by Amit Satija, Joint Secretary (Defence Industries Promotion) of the Department of Defence Production, Ministry of Defence of the Republic of India.
During the meetings the sides discussed the avenues of cooperation in the field of defence industry, highlighting areas of mutual strategic interest. They also explored potential prospects of promoting business ties and enhancing practical collaboration among the defence industry companies of the two countries.
In conclusion, both parties emphasized the importance of implementing joint research programs and developing production potential.
The meeting was also attended by H.E. Nilakshi Saha Sinha, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of India to Armenia, as well as representatives of the Defence Research and Development Organisation (DRDO).
