The HTI Minister of the Republic of Armenia Met with the President of Trade and Mission Support of the Advanced Technology Group EDGE Group, Headquartered in Abu Dhabi, UAE

On February 18, the Minister of High-Tech Industry of the Republic of Armenia, Mkhitar Hayrapetyan, met in Abu Dhabi with Dr. Omar Al Zaabi, President of Trade and Mission Support at EDGE Group, an advanced military-industrial company specializing in defense, security, and cutting-edge technologies in the United Arab Emirates.

During the meeting, the parties discussed various issues of mutual interest in the military industry, including opportunities for sectoral cooperation and the prospects and necessary steps for implementing joint programs aimed at advancing the sector.

Building on previous meetings and negotiations, the Ministry of High-Tech Industry of the Republic of Armenia has established a broad agenda with EDGE Group and initiated the implementation phase of specific programs.

At the conclusion of the meeting, both sides reaffirmed their commitment to expanding mutually beneficial cooperation and expressed their intention to take concrete steps toward that goal.

The meeting was also attended by First Deputy Minister of Defense of the Republic of Armenia Gevorg Mantashyan, Chairman of the Military Industry Committee Aram Jivanyan, and Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Armenia to the UAE Karen Grigoryan.
