Ruben Simonyan emphasized the presence and operational efficiency of AMD Global Technology Company in Armenia

On July 10, the RA Deputy Minister of High-Tech Industry Ruben Simonyan visited AMD Armenia and met with Company's representatives, chaired by Amit Gupta, AMD's Vice President for Corporate Affairs.

Ruben Simonyan emphasized the presence and operational efficiency of AMD global technology company in Armenia, and highlighted the importance of public-private close cooperation for the benefit of development and progress of the ICT sector in Armenia.

During the meeting, the Company's ongoing projects were discussed being implemented in Armenia, Company’s success and achievements, as well as some issues and potential solutions.

Details were provided about Company's academic programs implemented in Armenian universities with the aim of training qualified specialists in technological area.

Ruben Simonyan emphasized that the Ministry within its capacity is open and ready for cooperation to support tech companies that operate in Armenia.

Representatives of Enterprise Armenia expressed their willingness to work towards improving the Company's activities ensuring its growth in Armenia.
