Deputy Minister of High-Tech Industry and Artificial Intelligence of the Republic of Armenia Tatev Aslanyan participated in the official launch of the “Let’s Marry” programme. The programme aims to foster the growth of women entrepreneurs engaged in traditional agribusiness by introducing digital solutions and AI tools, enhancing their competitiveness, and facilitating access to new markets.

The programme is implemented within the framework of the “SheCan” initiative of the Gyumri Information Technologies Center (GITC), with the support of GIZ’s DT4SME programme and in cooperation with EDIH KYIV HITECH.

Delivering remarks at the opening of the event, Deputy Minister Tatev Aslanyan highlighted that for women entrepreneurs, the main challenge is often not a lack of ambition or talent, but the absence of effective bridges that provide access to the digital solutions they need.

Referring to the sectoral priorities, she emphasized that digitalisation and the integration of artificial intelligence are among the key strategic directions of the Ministry. According to the Deputy Minister, the rapid-response and practical pilot solutions envisaged within the framework of the programme best reflect the vision of public policy aimed at promoting women’s entrepreneurship and advancing technological development.

Tatev Aslanyan expressed confidence that Armenian women entrepreneurs have significant potential and, with practical support and access to the necessary tools, can successfully make their businesses more competitive and expand into international markets.
