Plug and Play Concludes Third Startup Support Pre-Acceleration Program in Armenia

July 13, 2026

The third pre-acceleration program implemented by the international company Plug and Play, supported by the Ministry of High-Tech Industry of the Republic of Armenia, has concluded and summarized its results.

The closing ceremony of the program (EXPO DAY) took place at the Sos Sargsyan Hamazgayin State Theatre in Yerevan. The event was attended by representatives of the technological ecosystem, the private sector, the venture capital industry, international organizations, and high-ranking officials.

Welcoming the participants, Ruben Simonyan, Deputy Minister of High-Tech Industry of the RA, highlighted the significance of the program, noting that the entry of such a prestigious organization into Armenia and long-term cooperation with it will have a major impact on the development of the country's startup ecosystem.

“Since it is difficult to achieve a significant impact on the startup ecosystem within a single year or through a single program, the Government decided to form a long-term partnership with Plug and Play, resulting in a three-year contract. Plug and Play already has a legal office and an operating branch in Armenia. The framework of the program includes incubation, pre-acceleration, and acceleration stages, with two cohorts per year. Today, we are wrapping up the third program, which featured the participation of 18 startups,” the Deputy Minister stated.

Sona Grigoryan, Director of Plug and Play Armenia, emphasized that Armenia possesses brilliant engineering potential: “By integrating local founders into our global network and providing direct weekly support from three international mentors, we are creating a platform for Armenian innovative solutions to scale from Yerevan to global markets,” Sona Grigoryan said.

During the event, the 18 participating startups-namely Bleenk, FIGURINGS, decato.ai (formerly Empy.ai), Tedly, abda Inc., SafeGround Technologies, Salute AI, Uray Technologies, Ethery Tech, JAN DIGITRUST, Megaladata LLC, RUXEN, Sannie AI (formerly AgenticFi), BeeSync, Dhomie, Muvia Inc., BeautyFlo B.V., and Lex AI-presented their innovative pitches, concluding the three-month intensive pre-acceleration program.

Within the framework of cooperation between the RA Ministry of High-Tech Industry and the international company Plug and Play, two cohorts of the program have been successfully implemented since 2024, involving around 40 startups. The initiative aims to foster the development of the Armenian startup ecosystem, expand international cooperation, and enhance the competitiveness of local startups.

The third pre-acceleration program launched in April 2026. Each participating startup had the opportunity to benefit from personalized (face-to-face) mentorship and to connect with Plug and Play's global network, which unites over 100,000 startups and more than 500 major corporations.
