Minister of High-Tech Industry and Artificial Intelligence of the Republic of Armenia Davit Tadevosyan received Amal Afifi, Ambassador  of the Arab Republic of Egypt to the Republic of Armenia.

Davit Tadevosyan presented the Ministry’s priorities stemming from the Government’s program, emphasizing the importance of further expanding and deepening the effective cooperation established between the governments of the two countries in the technology sector.

During the meeting, a number of key issues on the bilateral cooperation agenda were discussed, including prospects for cooperation in artificial intelligence (AI), information technology, and the military-industrial sector.

The parties emphasized the importance of organizing and participating in joint startup forums and conferences, including the possibility of holding the Seaside Startup Summit in Egypt.

The discussion also addressed the development of cooperation between companies operating in relevant sectors in the two countries, further steps toward opening a TUMO Center for Creative Technologies in Egypt, as well as the implementation of programs for exchanging experience and professional knowledge to develop technological capabilities.

The parties agreed to establish a clear cooperation agenda for the coming years across various technology fields and to work jointly toward its implementation.
