Minister of High-Tech Industry and Artificial Intelligence of the Republic of Armenia  Davit Tadevosyan, received a delegation from the French research institute CEA-Leti, led by Michael Tchagaspanian, Executive Vice President for Strategic Technology Partnerships.

Raffi Derderian, President of the France-Armenia Chamber of Commerce and Industry (CCIFA), also joined the meeting.

The parties discussed expanding cooperation and launching joint projects in semiconductor research, engineering, and manufacturing.

Special emphasis was placed on working with Armenian universities. The meeting highlighted plans to scale up ongoing programs with the National Polytechnic University of Armenia and Yerevan State University, launch new joint initiatives, and build long-term student exchange programs.

The discussions also covered potential partnerships between CEA-Leti and local, as well as international, tech companies and research centers operating in Armenia.

Key topics included boosting tech and engineering innovation, deepening collaboration in IC design, microelectronics, and nanoelectronics, expanding manufacturing capabilities, and strengthening Armenia's overall R&D ecosystem.

At the end of the meeting, the sides agreed on concrete next steps to advance their partnership.

CEA-Leti is a premier French research center leading in micro- and nanotechnologies. It works closely with academic and industry partners to develop innovative solutions in electronics, AI, communications, and nanoelectronics.
