On September 23, David Tadevosyan, Minister of High-Tech Industry and Artificial Intelligence of the Republic of Armenia, held a meeting with  the delegation led by Simonida Kordić, Minister of Tourism of Montenegro.

During the meeting, the possibilities of applying modern technologies, digitalization, and artificial intelligence in the tourism sector were discussed, as well as the directions and experience of developing respective policies and strategies of the two countries.

The parties emphasized that technological solutions can contribute to the personalization of tourism services, the improvement of visitor experience, the efficient management of tourist flows, and the enhancement of overall sector efficiency.

Challenges existing in the process of tourism digitalization were also discussed.

The meeting also touched upon Armenia's experience in organizing international technological events. In particular, the experience of the "Seaside Startup Summit Armenia", in which Montenegro participated at a high level this year, was discussed. The parties stressed the importance of such events in promoting cooperation between the technological and tourism sectors, exchanging innovative ideas, and expanding international ties.

Other issues of mutual interest regarding the possibilities of expanding bilateral cooperation and joint initiatives were also discussed.
